About the Corpus Christi Symphony Society
Founded in 1945, the Symphony Society celebrates its 65th year of providing classical and pops music experiences to the region's culturally diverse audience during the 2010-2011 concert season. Members of the Symphony Society play a decisive role in sustaining the Symphony's tradition of artistic excellence.

Ticket revenue alone covers only about half of the cost (48%) of presenting high caliber symphonic programs, education programs and community engagement efforts. The limited support the orchestra receives from grants and foundations provides less than 4%. Financial support by corporate and individual concert sponsors covers 28%. Contributions by patrons, such as you, fill the financial gap with the remaining 19% and literally keep the music playing.

In 2006, the CCSO Board of Directors created the Symphony Regents, with the goal of involving Society members more directly in the programs and future of the orchestra. Symphony Regents will be invited to attend various special events during the season, including the season preview and the Annual Meeting. A contribution of $250 or more qualifies a society member for Regent status.

Your support through a tax-deductible charitable contribution will ensure the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra is WHERE MUSIC LIVES!
